Naturally, in the course of its 45 years in business the Studio has accumulated an extensive archive of analog and digital phonograms. The core of the archive consists of recordings of classical music performed by leading orchestras, ensembles, choirs and soloists from St Petersburg and other musical centres of Russia.
In our archive you will of course find works performed by the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra and the St Petersburg Capella Choir. We particularly take a pride in the recordings of the St Petersburg Philharmonic under such great conductors as Evgeny Mravinsky and Gennady Rozhdestvensky. The total volume of the classical part of our archive amounts to over 400 hours of music.
Petersburg Recording Studio, as the holder of exclusive rights to the archive recordings, can offer publishing licences to interested parties.
